The Securitas Operation Center (SOC) is a remote monitoring center that supports alarm signal supervision, image analysis, and security event handling. Our monitoring officers watch over your premises round the clock, in English and Thai. When an alarm activates, we verify what is happening and make sure the right response reaches your site.
The challenge
Most sites are empty at night, at weekends and over public holidays. Fire panels, intrusion sensors and panic buttons all keep working, but there is often nobody available to notice them or decide what to do next. A siren on an empty building rarely brings help, and a missed technical fault can turn into flooding, spoiled stock or a full production stop. Minutes matter, and so does knowing which alarms are real and which are not.

Securitas maintains specialised monitoring officers, fully versed in English and Thai, to monitor your premises 24/7. Your alarm and security systems are connected to our security operations center, where every activation appears immediately on screen. In the event of an alarm activation, our monitoring officers make sure the right response is directed to the premises, in line with your agreed procedures. Monitoring capabilities
Our systems can monitor all types of alarms, so you do not need separate providers for different parts of your building. We cover fire alarms (heat and smoke), intrusion alarms, technical alarms (electricity, heating, cooling, lifts), panic alarms and video surveillance (CCTV). Securitas Thailand also provides active CCTV monitoring through our remote video solutions, where officers can see events as they happen and intervene. Each alarm type is linked to its own agreed response plan, so your team and ours always know what happens next.

It is a staffed center where your alarm and security systems are monitored around the clock. Signals from fire, intrusion, technical and panic alarms, as well as CCTV, arrive here in real time. Monitoring officers assess each activation and follow the response plan agreed with you. That can mean calling your site contact, dispatching a mobile unit or contacting the police, fire or medical services. After the event, you receive a report on what happened.
The activation appears immediately at our center and an officer picks it up straight away. They check the available information, including camera views where CCTV monitoring is in place. Based on your agreed procedures, they direct the right response to your premises. You are informed according to the escalation list you have given us, so you are not woken up for every minor event unless you want to be.
Our systems can monitor all common alarm types. This includes fire alarms for heat and smoke, intrusion alarms, technical alarms covering electricity, heating, cooling and lifts, and panic alarms for staff safety. We also monitor video surveillance, and can provide active CCTV monitoring through our remote video solutions. If you have a less common system, we will assess it during the site survey.

This matters during an incident, when instructions need to be understood immediately by your local site team as well as by international managers. It also makes reporting clearer, because you can receive updates in the language your organisation works in.
In many cases, yes. Our technical team reviews your existing panels, communication paths and cameras to check compatibility with our monitoring platform. Where equipment is outdated or unable to transmit signals reliably, we will tell you honestly what needs to be upgraded. We would rather be clear about limitations than connect a system we cannot depend on.
Every activation is assessed before a response is escalated, and where CCTV is connected our officers can visually verify what triggered it. This reduces unnecessary call-outs and disruption for your team. We also log recurring false alarms so patterns can be identified, for example a faulty sensor or a door that does not close properly. You can then fix the underlying cause rather than living with repeated alerts.
Monitoring generally costs less per site than continuous on-site guarding, because one center covers many premises. It works particularly well for hours when a site is closed, or for locations that do not justify a permanent guard post. That said, it is not a replacement for everything. The most effective setups usually combine monitoring with mobile patrols or on-site officers, and we are happy to advise on the right balance.
