Candidates must meet the regulatory criteria set by Thailand's Security Business Act B.E. 2558 (2015): Thai nationality, minimum age requirement, completion of compulsory education (Mathayom 3 or equivalent), and a clean criminal record verified by the Royal Thai Police. Candidates must pass a physical and mental health examination and hold—or be eligible to obtain—the official Thai Security Guard License (Tor.Phor. 7). Prior military, police, or security experience is an asset but not mandatory.
